Who in their right mind would use a pit crew dressed in tuxedos to tend to race car? Lexus would do it of course. Only thing, this pit crew isn’t real – but the vehicle shown in the image above is very real, which is the newly-revealed Lexus RC F GT500 race car on display at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon.
The all-new Lexus RC F Coupe greeted us earlier this week with its early presence before the official Detroit debut and now Lexus is keeping that momentum moving forward by unleashing the new RC F GT500 race car to replace the brand’s SC 430 race car for competing in the 2014 Japanese Super GT series.
We look for the RC F Coupe to be display that the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week.
