After the speculation of fast approaching end to Cash for Clunkers, the House has passed legislation to inject another $2 billion into “Cash for Clunkers”. First it was the administration reporting that the $1 billion initially allocated for Cash for Clunkers, was quickly running out. The bill is slated to go to the Senate next week.

Some speculate that this will only buy them another month or so. What do you think? Dump more money into this plan? Will it end by Fall? Post your comments!

I own a 1995 Bonneville with a non supercharged 3.8l engine and a 1995 Olds Royale with the same engine aslo non supercharged. The olds weights 7 pounds heavier and does not qualify for the program. What is the difference that elimates the Olds from the program?
