As many of our patrons, attendees and fans have noticed over the past several months, our Automotive Addicts Cars and Coffee event has evolved to have selected months for celebrating certain vehicle makes. With much of the success of our event riding off of the participation of all of those who bring their vehicle to our venue and our supporting sponsors, we want to celebrate YOU.
Last year and into this year we had a wonderful time celebrating Mazda vehicles, Porsches, many classics and late model General Motors vehicles, and several select exotics. This month, for February 13, 2016, we would like to extend the celebration to BMW and MINI vehicles.
This month, we will be parking all (as many as we can) BMW and MINI vehicles on the upper level of the Florida Times-Union parking lot facility, which we have called home to Automotive Addicts Cars and Coffee for nearly three years now. Thanks to the support of The Florida Times-Union, we can utilize the upper level of their parking facility to display our monthly celebrated vehicles. Also, on the same level, you will find the bathroom facilities through the main entrance of the Florida Times-Union tower for your convenience.
Our long-time sponsor, Tom Bush Family of Dealerships, will be participating in our BMW and MINI vehicle celebration for this month. Hopefully, as a surprise, we will have a few rare and remarkable BMW and MINI vehicles to show off during our show.
While we never want to leave any particular type of vehicle out of our celebration, we plan on rolling out many other celebration months for other vehicle makes, including Toyota/Lexus/Scion, which will hopefully be celebrated in April. We ask that everyone be patient and work with us as we attempt to keep things fresh and inviting for all of our wonderful participants that have helped put Jacksonville, FL on the map for having one of the largest Cars and Coffee venues in the country.
Exotics and rare sports cars will now have their own area to park in the center rows next to our sponsor tent. We don’t have any assigned parking, though, in an effort to keep some organization, we are asking that like vehicles park together and look for our volunteers to direct them to the proper designated area.

As a quick note, for next month, March 12, 2016, we will NOT have our normal event here at the Florida Times-Union. Instead, we will be joining the festivities on Amelia Island for the Cars and Coffee at the Concours presented by Heacock Classic Car Insurance event, which starts at 9am until 1pm. The event has allowed entry for about 300 vehicles on the field for the show, which were already selected and approved. All others who wish to attend may do so for free but must park in the designated parking lot areas surrounding the event. Please note: parking lot areas may have a minimal cash charge to park during the event. Rest assured, this is an event you don’t want to miss. There will be lots of surprises on four wheels – ones you have never seen in person in your life! We hope you can make it out.
