Motor City Motors: Chop It and Build It in Detroit

The Discovery Channel has a new series called Motor City Motors that follows internationally renowned fabricators and custom bike builders Dave and James Kaye to assemble a team of local Detroit builders and specialists. Together they will push the boundaries of automotive engineering to create custom one-of-a-kind vehicles within the realm of their physical abilities and broad imagination. Each build will be contained within a 5-day time limit. Check out this new series that will redefine ingenuity under pressure that premieres (Monday’s at 10pm) Monday, January 4^th at 10PM ET/PT on the Discovery Network.

On next week’s episode, Dave and Jamie attempt to mend the broken streets of Detroit by turning a Chevy Suburban into an all-in-one Pot Hole Filler. A trio of father-and-son builders tackle the task with them, but family feuds threaten to derail the build.
