Automotive Addicts was created for enthusiasts of all types. Whether you like to dream about your favorite super car, drive like a maniac, enjoy the presence of other car lovers, or have a slight interest in the automotive world, you will feel at home visiting Automotive Addicts dot com. Either way you look at the automobile and its creation, implementation, and invention around the late 1800's, it has changed our means of transportation forever. God has blessed us with the capability to create, modify, and drive such a machine every day without giving a second thought of the means of freedom, transportation, and world of enjoyment it has brought to the human race. For those of us who choose to capitalize and not take for granted our means of “getting around” we find the automotive enthusiast. An enthusiast being defined as: One who is filled with enthusiasm; one who is ardently absorbed in an interest or pursuit: an automotive enthusiast.
Here the automotive enthusiast is also defined as one that is addicted to the automobile, hence an Automotive Addict.
From the implementation of interchangeable parts started by our automobile father, Henry Ford, we have enjoyed great technological advances over the past 100 years that allows us now days to hop in our personal car, truck, or suv and travel down highways at speeds we only dreamed of 100 years ago without any apparent worries of danger. Most of us in our life here on earth will have some interaction with the automobile having it be a commuter, racecar driver, taxi driver, chauffeur, transporter, truck driver, mechanic, detailer, customization specialist, sales person, or our daydreaming kids. The idea of this site comes from Malcolm Hogan. Malcolm envisioned a place where people of the automotive world could all share there knowledge, experience, and love of cars. Being involved in such a project required the initial love and passion for cars that Malcolm brings to this environment. The new environment of the internet gives an edge on the informative material of the automotive world.
