BMW Z4 GT3 – A Race Prepped V8 Powered Z4

You may remember when we posted images and press information on the BMW M3 GTS which was basically a race-tuned version of the current E92 BMW M3. Well now BMW Motorsports has race-prepped the Z4 and turned it into a V8-powered Z4 GT3. It uses the same naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 found in the BMW M3 with a little extra tuning to make 480hp.

That is pretty much the same formula Lamborghini used with creating the new 2011 Gallardo 570-4 Superleggera. Weighing in at 3,153 lbs. (2,954 lbs dry weight) and powered by a 530 horsepower 5.2-liter V10 delivered through all 4-wheels, the Superleggera means business.

Pagani has released photos of a new one-off Pagani Zonda dubbed the Zonda Tricolore built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian air force Frecce Tricolori team. You can think of them as being an Italian version of the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels.
