Rumored Kia Luxury Sedan: Kia K9 Sketches Released

Everyone wants to have an entry into the luxury sports sedan segment these days including, you would never guess, Kia! Yes, that’s right; Kia has introduced sketches of their upcoming Kia K9 luxury sedan. The counterparts rumored to be a part of this upcoming Korean luxury sports sedan are shared with the Hyundai Genesis sedan. The Kia K9 would virtually be a sister car to that of the Genesis Sedan sporting a V8. Would that put a Kia up against the likings of an Audi A8 and BMW 7-series? Only time will tell. For now, enjoy the sketches of the upcoming Kia K9… and it is not a dog.

All of this time we have seen several renderings and heard of the many speculations about Bugatti building a 4-door Veyron and now, it has become a reality. The 4-door Bugatti will not be called a Veyron but rather called the Bugatti 16C Galibier. Just before the opening of the Frankfurt Motor Show this week, we get to witness what a “4-door Veyron” would actually look like. YAY!
Frankfurt Motor Show Preview: Lexus LF-Ch Concept Premium Hatchback

I will admit that there are not many premium or luxury hatches around. We have the Audi A3 and the European countries have the BMW 1-Series hatchbacks. Now, Lexus wagers to enter this small but noticeable segment with a hybrid hatchback called the Lexus LF-Ch. As of now we are not 100% certain of which Toyota platform this new Lexus will be built off of but it will be a hybrid according to the short press release below. Look for the Lexus LF-Ch to be on display and “revealed” to the public this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Video Revealed

Details on the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept come out ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show coupled with a new video. There has been a wide open speculation as far as the powerplant found in this new concept but now is known to be compromised of a plug-in hybrid system with a 3-cyl turbo-diesel engine. That astonishing factor of the equation is that BMW plans to get “M” (Motorsport) performance out of this plug-in hybrid claiming a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds while still able to get hybrid fuel saving figures at the same time.

Infiniti Essence Concept Makes Stop @ Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

When I first saw the Infiniti Essence Concept in Geneva, I could not help but to think that this was Infiniti’s (Nissan’s) answer to Toyota’s Lexus LF-A. Supposedly the Infiniti Essence has a similar engine to that of the Nissan GT-R but also has an electric motor along side of it making this a Hybrid sports car.
