If you want solid proof that the 2013 Porsche Boxster S is faster than the car it replaces, ponder this: Autoblog.nl, via Motor Authority, says that Porsche ran the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:58. That’s a major improvement over the previous Boxster S, which took 8:10 to complete a lap. When it comes to the ‘Ring, twelve seconds isn’t just progress, it’s a quantum leap forward in performance. Chris Harris Drives Porsche’s New Boxster S: Video

The Mazda MX-5 Miata is not the only car with gender identity issues, at least according to Evo’s Chris Harris. In his latest video, Harris ponders if a man can actually buy the newly redesigned Porsche Boxster S, which seems to imply that no man would be caught dead behind the wheel of the current Boxster and Boxster S. That’s a shame, since the car is one of the most balanced sports cars on the planet, which means that drivers with security issues will be missing out on a highly entertaining ride. Lucky for us that we review cars instead of stereotypes. Read more…

Porsche isn’t finished introducing new variants of the revised 911, but that hasn’t stopped the Stuttgart-based automaker from redesigning the Boxster roadster. Introduced at this week’s Geneva Motor Show, the new Boxster is lighter, yet it rides on a longer wheelbase and benefits from a wider track. The styling is refreshed but not all new; the shape is still familiar, but we see some elements of other Porsche models (like the upcoming 918 supercar) in the new sheet metal. We say that’s a good thing, since the current Boxster was started to look a bit dated on the outside. Read more…

VW's Amarok pickup is perhaps the best transportation bargain in El Salvador

We’ll be the first to admit that, like smoked beer or steak tartar, Alex Roy is an acquired taste. He may come across as arrogant, but only because he really has been there and done that, with the t-shirt to prove it. We’ll also admit to being a bit skeptical about his latest J.F Musial-inspired mission, but it didn’t take long for this video to suck us in. Read more…

I am always down for good old fashion drag race especially when the contestants include a selection of new exotic cars. The guys at Autocar get their hands on a new Benz SLS AMG, Porsche GT2 RS and a Lamborghini Aventador all at the same time. What do they do with these three beastly cars? They do what many of you reading this would do; take them to an open runway (or drag strip) to find out which one is the fastest. Sure, anyone can look up the stats of these three cars and see what they will do on paper. But what is the fun in that? Hit up the video below to find out which car leads the pack.
