‘SLEEK, SEXY AND ECONOMICAL’
At first glance you might think that the all-new 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS is all about its sleek sexy lines but it is much more than that. With the new Hyundai ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ design it is a pleasure to look from any angle as it cuts through the air with a very low 0.28 coefficient of drag, but the six generation Sonata GLS is also about its new more fuel efficient and powerful four-cylinder engines, new six-speed automatic transmission, smooth and precise suspension system, and comfortable, contemporary interior with luxury features.

I had the opportunity to review the all-new redesigned 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The new 2011 Hyundai Sonata reminds me of a time when the big three automakers were threatened by overseas manufacturers from the orient of Japan who made small, reliable, and economical vehicles for the average American. Now that threat comes out of the automaker from Korea who goes by the name Hyundai, pronounced like ‘Sunday’. This time the threat is aimed not only at American vehicles, but Toyota, Nissan and Honda.

Love it or hate it, this is really it, the new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. We have witnessed several renditions of what the new Hyundai Sonata would look like and some of them were not off by far. The new stylish design resembles that of a VW Passat CC or even the Benz CLS with roof lines that mimic a coupe. Visually the car looks totally different from one end to the other.
