Audi took the wraps off their A6 Hybrid at the Detroit Auto Show, and to no one’s surprise it looked just like a regular A6. That’s a good thing, since Audi’s redesigned A6 is a masterpiece of Teutonic understatement; adding diffusers or side skirts to improve aerodynamics would have been an epic fail. The car manages to look both elegant and sinister, which seems to contradict its “green is good” mission statement. If you want to look environmentally responsible, buy a Prius; if you want to look successful while saving the planet, consider an A6 hybrid. Read more
Revealed: 2012 Audi A6 – A Look Inside and Out
Audi has released new images and information on the next A6 due out in 2011 as a 2012 model year. The new mid-sized luxury sedan has been restyled resembling its bigger sibling, the Audi A8.
Several amenities and techie gadgets have been made available on the 2012 A6 which is all expected because it is an Audi after-all. The new wrap-around interior is laced with soft-touch accents and under the hood you will find a choice between two gasoline engines and three diesel options. Of course we should not expect to get all three of the diesel options here in the United States but it will be beneficial to other world markets considering the greatly improved fuel economy of these new powermills.

The new 2009 Audi A6 now comes with a choice of the standard 3.2 liter V6, an available 4.2 liter V8, or the all-new, 3.0 liter supercharged V6 engine. The new A6 also gets a freshening of the front bumper/grille design, rear lighting, side mirror lighting, a tweaked suspension, new wheels, and an interior upgrade, that makes the new 2009 Audi A6 one of the most satisfying mid-size luxury sport sedans on the road. World-wide sales of the A6 continue to lead the in total sales against the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. That’s for good reason as the Audi A6 is such a great automobile to look at and to drive.

If you want to see the new Audi Superbowl Commercial then you should NOT look below, you should wait until Superbowl Sunday! DO NOT scroll down and watch this video before Superbowl Sunday… if you do then your computer may explode!
The new Supercharged Audi A6 is showcased in the Audi Superbowl commercial. The actual slot for the commercial is supposed to be 60 seconds (1 minute) while this clip is only 30 seconds. Maybe we are missing something here.
