Audi Disses Mercedes In New Superbowl Ad

If you like things boring and old school, live in a mansion and throw elaborate dinners where no one eats anything, you should buy a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG. If you still have enough income to tip your mailman in hundred dollar bills, but are younger and hipper than the “old money” crowd in the video, you should buy an Audi A8. At least that’s the message I’m getting from Audi of America’s latest video, which hits television this weekend. World’s First Integration of Google Earth Based Navigation System Announced for Audi A8

For the past few years during my extensive use of Google Maps and Google Earth I have always said “car manufacturers should just use Google for their navigation systems”. Well, somehow Audi heard me because they are incorporating Google Earth into the navigation systems for the new 2011 Audi A8. This will be the world’s first integration of a Google Earth based navigation system built into a car.

Spied: New 2011 Audi A8

The upcoming Audi A8 (2011 model year) was recently spied on in full camouflage. With a date set later this year to reveal the new Audi A8, it is expected to be 10cm longer than the current model. The new A8 will use more weight-saving materials and incorporate more fuel efficient engines.

The new Audi A8 will rival against the Lexus LS, BMW 7-series and Mercedes-Benz S-class. The range of engines will include a 3.0-liter and 4.2-liter V8.
