The all-new 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe is the first Cadillac to go directly from concept form to the showroom floor. The look is brilliant, expressing Cadillac’s ‘Art & Science’ direction. It is a perfect balance of dramatic styling with uncompromising performance, comfort and luxury. The CTS-Coupe is the new focal point of Cadillac, expressing both its design and technical capabilities. It is intended to appeal to a new generation of car enthusiasts.
The coupe joins the CTS Sport Sedan, the 556hp CTS-V high-performance sedan and the new CTS Sport Wagon as the foundation of Cadillac’s lineup. A 556hp high-performance CTS-V Coupe will be released later this year.
The coupe is a classic 2+2 layout bolstered with advanced technology, such as a rear-view camera system, and a performance-oriented suspension system coupled to rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Cadillac has injected the automotive market with a secret weapon in the form of the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe. With its modern chic looks and sports-coupe performance to back it up, the CTS Coupe fills a gap that Cadillac has had for many years.
We had the opportunity to review the new Cadillac CTS Coupe, and during our test drives we encountered several positive comments from on-lookers along the way. Cadillac has created something stylish and enduring. The CTS Coupe is much more than just a CTS Sedan minus two doors. It is more of its own character having many characteristics that set it apart from anything else that Cadillac offers.

General Motors has really upped the ante when it comes to their performance division, and the proof is consistently found in the new 2010 Cadillac CTS-V.
The latest Cadillac CTS-V packs a serious punch in the form of 556 horsepower and 551 ft. lbs. of torque. That’s enough power generated by the 6.2-liter Eaton Supercharged V8 to rocket the 4,233 pound sedan to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds. That makes the 2010 CTS-V the fastest production sedan in town. Power is delivered through either a Tremec TR6060 6-Speed manual or a Hydra-Matic 6L90 6-Speed automatic transmission as equipped on our test car.

All other car companies admire what BMW has done with the 3 Series by Making it an “affordable,” sport-luxury model that brings in huge profits and is well followed by many ( I go with my friend in is his 2004 330i for lunch every chance I get). Alpha is GM’s small rear-drive vehicle architecture and will be launching in late 2010 sedan as a smaller-than CTS Cadillac aimed squarely at the BMW 3 Series.

Should we still have the debacle of whether the Americans and Japanese are chasing down the Germans in terms of practical performance vehicles? Or is that an oxymoron when you mix the words “practical” and “performance” in the same sentence? Maybe Cadillac will help you clear things up with its new 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe.
