Video: Side-By-Side Toyota 86 Epic Drift Battle Action
Ever since the final conception of the new Toyota 86, aka Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ, tuners and true automotive enthusiasts have placed their crosshairs on this new inexpensive sports car waiting to see what it is truly capable of. It is no doubt that the new “86”, FR-S or BRZ has quite a bit of potential for tuners, but what about those who are serious about drifting?
The new Scion FR-S, Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ were designed with the heart of the infamous AE86 Corolla at hand. Because of that, there should be no problem when it comes to going sideways in the new Toyota sports car even in stock form, as the video below demonstrates. The guys taking the Toyota 86 sideways take it a step further by drifting side-by-side another Toyota 86 in this epic drifting battle video below. Enjoy!

It’s Monday, and if you work for the government, it’s a federal holiday to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King. If you’re lucky enough to have the day off, you’d probably enjoy a nice car-versus-motorcycle drift video, complete with stunts, a radio-controlled chase car, mirror shades and a plot with enough cheese to serve up about a dozen large pizzas. If you have to work today, chances are you’ll need a diversion at some point, too. Read more
Video: Turbo Scion FR-S Caught Drifting at Laguna Seca

It is a rather inevitable that we would see the new Scion FR-S, along side of the Subaru BRZ, on the Formula Drift circuits burning up the rear tires. Considering that most Formula D vehicles have a substantial amount of power, the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ’s powerplant in its stock form just isn’t going to suffice when it comes to competitive drifting. Motor Trend seems to have captured the Scion FR-S in a turbocharged flavor making rounds at Laguna Seca by what is speculated to be the Scion drift team.

As a compelling attempt to follow after the infamous Ken Block, the folks at Hyundai get this creative idea to “do something outrageous” inside the old Hyundai Motor America headquarters building in Fountain Valley, California before they demolish it. That something looks to be their own Gymkhana at the hands of Rhys Millen in his Genesis Coupe drift car.
Tokyo Drift In The Living Room

The rich, it’s said, are different than you and I. What seems seems illogical or destructive to us just seems like good fun to those with large bank accounts. Keith Moon, the original drummer for The Who, had a penchant for destroying hotel rooms simply because he could. The owner of this Cobra replica, on the other hand, has a penchant for destroying hardwood floors.
There’s no backstory to accompany the video, so we don’t know what prompted the driver to serve up fresh donuts in his living room. Laying rubber in such tight confines takes some skill, so we’ll give the driver props for only destroying the floors and not the drywall. Enjoy the video below, and we strongly discourage you from trying this at home. Read more

Do you record videos of your vacations? Do you have to ply friends and relatives with free burgers and beer to sit through your home movies? I’m guessing that Vaughn Gitten, Jr. doesn’t have that problem. As a professional drifter, he gets to visit places across the globe that most of us don’t, like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Watch below to see how Vaughn spent his summer vacation, touring the Al Reem circuit (while mostly sideways). Read more

The world record holder for the longest drift no longer belongs to Vaughn Gittin Jr. or any other professional drifter for that matter; it belongs to Mauro Calo who recently set the record in a stock Benz C63 AMG.
Mauro chose the handling circuit at Mercedes-Benz World where he performed an uninterrupted drift for a total distance of 7,572 feet (2,308 meters), which equates to almost a mile and a half. Of course the only thing stopping him at this distance was the tire that gave away launching chunks of rubber into the air as Mauro claims his respect in the motorsport world.
Check out the video of the complete drift below.

Let’s face it, drifting is fun and it just looks so cool. So how do you take your own car out on the track and show the professional Formula Drift series drivers how it is really done? You take the smaller scale car to the track… your RC drift car.
Check out this video from one of Tokyo’s best RC Drift Tracks. Some of these RC cars probably cost more than the beaters you see on the real road. Look at the attention to detail… these guys are not messing around. Enjoy!
