As far as I know, I wasn’t dropped on my head as a child. I can’t recall eating leaded paint, and I don’t think my mom let me play with a plastic bag over my head. Somehow, however, my developmental years took a wrong turn and I consider epic road trips to be fun. When a buddy called me up and offered me an expense-paid seat as a transit driver on this year’s One Lap of America, it didn’t take me long to say “sure”, even though it meant 10 days on the road, living on coffee, beef jerky and energy drinks. As a transit driver, I wouldn’t even get to compete in the bulk of the events, but it didn’t matter: I was still running away to join the circus. Read more

AutomotiveAddicts.com was on site at the recent Cars and Café get together celebrating their new location at Route 46 Entertainment District. Early on Saturday September 26th at 9am the cars started rolling in. Setup similar to an actual car show, the Cars and Café event was a success.

An exciting and unforgettable road-trip, the goldRush Rally 2009, was a success. Starting on June 4th, 2009, the goldRush Rally crew set out from San Francisco, CA’s Clift Hotel after a night at Club Vessel. People could hear the roaring engines from a distance along with catching glimpses of a gold blazing Ferrari followed by Porsches, Maseratis, Lamborghinis and other exotics. This was a sight to remember.

Celebrating the recent arrival of the Cadillac CTS-V in China, a commemorate event at the F1 circuit in Shanghai was held where stunt drivers put on one of the wildest shows around. In the show was, obviously, Cadillac CTS-V’s being driven by some very good drivers.
