Lamborghini Gallardo Tricolore Defines Good Taste

When Italian supercar builders release a special edition version of their product, “tasteful” isn’t usually the first word that comes to my mind. Most have garish paint schemes and vinyl decals that look like they were razor cut by a baboon. Wearing a blindfold. Worse, most have giant wings and more carbon fiber than an F1 starting grid. That’s why Lamborghini’s Gallardo Tricolore, built to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Italian reunification, is so stunning. If anything, it’s even more subdued than a regular Gallardo, with the single distinguishing feature being the Italian flag stripe that runs down the car and through the interior. It’s definitely a case of “less is more” when it comes to style. Read more

Sharpie Lamborghini Gallardo at Supercar Weekend 2009 Palm Beach Florida

During Supercar Weekend in Palm Beach Florida this weekend people brought out some serious heavy-hitters. Among them included a very unique and one-of-a-kind Sharpie Lamborghini Gallardo. Yes, you heard me right, a Sharpie Lamborghini Gallardo. That is a Lamborghini Gallardo with a Sharpie pen paintjob. This is a well known vehicle in the automotive enthusiast community as it has a specially designed exterior done with, you guessed it, a sharpie pen. The art work done by Jona Cerwinske using sharpie markers on the white paint and then finished off with a clear coat to seal the deal.
With this type of “paint job” you would no longer need to worry that someone else with a Gallardo has the same color paint as you.

In this unusual Lamborghini review, Fifth Gear takes the Lambo to the Italian Apps for some snow driving. The car handles great for a sports car due to the all wheel drive system. The headlights look very nice also.

We will back it up with a video clip from Motor Trend where they had their senior editor, Edward Loh, show you how to ride the Bull, Lamborghini Bull that is, at Wide Open Throttle (WOT).
