I can appreciate Mercedes-Benz automobiles for what they are, but I have to say that I don’t really aspire to own one. Yes, they’re safe, yes, they’re stylish, but most, in my experience, are clinical and without emotion. Nico Rosberg Terrifies David Coulthard On The ‘Ring

I know this as fact: ex-racing drivers make the world’s worst passengers at the hands of current racing drivers. David Coulthard is no stranger to going fast: the Scottish driver raced in Formula One from 1994 through 2008, racking up some 13 career victories and 12 pole positions. He’s still racing, driving in the DTM series for Mücke Motorsports.

Nico Rosberg is a current F1 driver and teammate to Michael Schumacher at Mercedes-Benz. Rosberg is young, but that doesn’t mean he’s inexperienced; in fact, he’s got five and a half seasons of F1 experience under his belt, but that’s not reassuring to David Coulthard when he climbs in a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG for a hot lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I’m sure Coulthard wasn’t reassured to learn that Rosberg was a ‘Ring virgin, and the wet pavement probably didn’t help the Scot’s nerves any. It may look like a toy but it is far from it. The new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 Race Car was officially revealed at this year’s New York Auto Show. The Benz SLS AMG GT3 sports an all-carbon fiber body concealing its AMG V8 and 6-speed sequential transmission.

The Fast and the Famous: Jay Leno’s Hidden Racetrack (Nurburgring)

Jay Leno is known for late night and his test driving excursions. In a new video called “The Fast and the Famous”, Jay creates his first car mini-film where he starts off by saying “Every major city must have a great race track hidden in it somewhere”. 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Images Leaked

Just before the Frankfurt Motor Show, several new car images are being leaked and today it is Mercedes-Benz’s turn. Images of the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG were leaked onto the internet today.
