Many people have been awaiting the completion of the infamous Heffner Performance Twin Turbo Lamborghini Murcielago. That day has finally arrived. The 100% complete project was a little bit more involved than slapping on a pair of turbos onto the 580hp 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago. From the images below you have to admire the attention to detail that does not compromise the top-notch craftsmanship already put into this remarkable supercar. It is a nice addition that works well with the stock Murcielago foundation to plant an astonishing 1100 horsepower down to the pavement through two wheels.
VIDEO: Corvette ZR1 and a Lambo LP670-4 SV racing around Millbrook

This video is really amazing, you get to see two super cars go head to head! A ZR1 vs a Lambo? I wish I could have been there! In theory the Lambo should be faster than the ZR1, its lighter by about 60lbs and has 30 more hp, plus it has AWD. In the video the Lamborghini is being driven by a factory driver and the Corvette is being driven by a regular old auto journalist. This really makes you think that the ZR1 is one hell of a bargain! Oh, so you want to see what fast is? Here it is. I do not know any other way of expressing “fast” today other than the Top Gear video of the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV (Super Veloce). The fastest Lamborghini ever made (from the factory).
Check out our previous posts on the Murcielago LP670-4 SV (Super Veloce) here.
Gucci Pontiac Sunfire? FTL!

Well let’s see, there once was an Eddie Bauer Edition Ford Explorer, a Coach Edition Lexus ES300, and a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Versace Edition, which were tasteful “name-branded” cars that all came from the factory. Outside of the factory, we have “customizers” who feel the need to take it upon themselves to add a name-brand to their own ride. Some are somewhat tasteful and others are down-right ridiculous such as this “Gucci” Pontiac Sunfire shown in the images below taken from the L4P.com forum. I thought that the Luis Vuitton Bentley was ridiculous but this Gucci Pontiac Sunfire takes the cake.
Flashy Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 – Very Flashy – Videos

I really do not have any words for this Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 spotted in Japan. All I can say is “flashy”. Other words really cannot full describe this ridiculous THING. I do not know what else to call it other than a “THING”. That’s a lot of freaking lights. Someone may be begging for some “attention” maybe? Ya think?
Watch the videos below to fully understand my lack of words or my deep-felt frustration for messing up what use to be artwork. Now it is just… ahhhh… nevermind, just watch the videos.
Salvaged Lamborghini Murcielago at a Local Car Show – Images

Over the weekend I had a chance to go by a car show for the life celebration of a fallen biker that worked at one of the local restaurants in Jacksonville, FL. The owner of the same restaurant, who set up the car show, happens to own a few eye-catching vehicles including 900+hp Toyota Supra Turbo and a 3rd gen RX-7 with a Chevy LS1 engine swap. His vehicles, among others, were major highlights of the show until a blue, or what used-to-be blue, Lamborghini Murcielago pulled up into the parking lot. It immediately drew everyone’s attention because of the way it looked… like no other Lamborghini I had seen. This one was truly different. Sad to say, this poor Murcielago had seen its better days. It was a truly despicable and a very sad sight to see. Come to find out, it is a salvaged Lamborghini Murcielago. To this day, I always thought that when a car of this stature was in an accident, as severe as a “roll-over”, it would be considered totaled-out. What kind of image is this for Lamborghini? Maybe there is a specific reason for rebuilding this car or it could be possible that it did not suffer enough damage to scrap it. But why would you bring it to a car show in this kind of condition?
The good part about this story is they were able to raise money to send to the fallen biker’s family to help pay for previous medical bills accumulated during the time in the hospital.
Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 (SV) SuperVeloce

The Geneva Motor Show is one that will not disappoint despite the many pull-outs of various auto manufacturers from being in this week’s Geneva Motor Show. One car that will be a big hit is the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV (SuperVeloce) or (translation: Super Fast). With an obvious 670hp from the naming of this Bull and all-wheel-drive hence the -4, this Murcielago has no mercy on the competition.
Some of the stunning stats pulled out of the press release below is the notable 0-60mph time of 3.2 seconds and top speed of 212mph. While that is still not Bugatti Veyron territory you would be hard pressed to find many cars that can make that type of marking.
Press Release below after the jump…
