BMW has jumped into the Super Bowl Commercial Game to score big with about 6 spots advertising the new 3 Series. Many of them are focused on new features offered on the new BMW 3 Series and the idea of BMW building only one thing, The Ultimate Driving Machine. These commercials are pretty clever and are sure to give other automotive ads a run for the money during Super Bowl XLVI. Enjoy!

These Are Audi Commercials?

Audi is going head-to-head with Mercedes-Benz in their latest commercials. First they gave us the “Goodnight” TV spot, which mocked Mercedes owners as old and stodgy, more concerned with image than with content. Their latest ads take that message one step farther, occasionally crossing the line of what most Audi customers would consider to be good taste. The best part? These videos are just teasers for the actual ads, which will air during the Superbowl. I dare you to watch them and not smile, although I’ll warn you that they contain some graphic content. In the first, entitled “Startled Smart” (a spoof of the “Scared Straight” concept), high risk youth get a picture of life inside a luxury prison. If you don’t want to see a man kiss a stuffed armadillo, and if implied caviar-jar-licking or cheese fondling puts you off, look elsewhere. Read more
Audi Disses Mercedes In New Superbowl Ad

If you like things boring and old school, live in a mansion and throw elaborate dinners where no one eats anything, you should buy a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG. If you still have enough income to tip your mailman in hundred dollar bills, but are younger and hipper than the “old money” crowd in the video, you should buy an Audi A8. At least that’s the message I’m getting from Audi of America’s latest video, which hits television this weekend. The ad will also run during the AFC and NFC Championship games, as well as during the Super Bowl. Read on to watch the video. Read more

Update (Super Bowl XLIII Hyundai Genesis Commercial Posted here): Edit Your Own: Hyundai Genesis Superbowl Commercial
He goes long… Touchdown! Hyundai scores big with commercial spots during the upcoming Super Bowl XLIII. In the commercials will be the all new 310ho Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Of course guys watching the Super Bowl will undoubtedly be interested in a new “muscle car” but what about a Hyundai?
This is not your every-day run-of-the-mill Hyundai here folks. This is the Genesis Coupe packing 310 ponies through the rear wheels.
What a way to target the new Genesis Coupe potential buys, place not one, but many commercials during THE SUPER BOWL.
Hints are circulating that the commercials will have championship winning driver Rhys Millen, who is famous for drifting and a Pike’s Peak world record, driving a new Hyundai Genesis Coupe performing precise driving maneuvers with some “hip” music playing in the background. The course used will be Road Atlanta so we expect this one to be all-so-familiar if we are into the SCCA scene. Maybe Hyundai will offer a SCCA membership like Subaru does… maybe?!?!
Speculation is that Hyundai will be paying about $6 million for one minute of advertising the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe. So in other words, this car better sell!
