After all of the leaked photos posted on the internet the official unveiling of the 2011 Volkswagen Jetta has taken place. New for 2011 the VW Jetta features new conservative styling somewhat similar to its Audi siblings and the Compact Coupe Concept (Jetta Coupe). The price point has been set to start around $16,000 for what VW calls “an acceptable price”. Full press release, video and additional information below.

What you see here is probably the next best thing to the Scirocco for America to get from Wolfsburg’s Volkswagen design group, the NCC. Essentially this new VW compact coupe is a two-door version of the Jetta.
