550hp V-10 Powered Manhart BMW Z4 Revealed

Not many tuners have touched the BMW Z4 let alone turned it into a tuners dream-car until now. Manhart Racing, a German company known for stuffing big V10’s and V12’s in cars that were never originally designed for them, has taken the BMW M5’s V10 and put it in one of their latest creations, a BMW Z4M. Already, the Z4 M is not slouch sharing the S54 engine from the BMW M3 producing about 343hp. Why not slap a supercharger on that inline-6, no no, Manhart had to take it a few notches up… BAAM… A big V10 powers this Z4.

Video: Top Gear – BMW Z4 vs Nissan 370Z

The Top Gear guys are at it again, they are testing out the new Z4 and the new 370Z. Jeremy Clarkson hated the previous Z4 so it makes you wonder what he thinks of this one. He has also always referred to the 350Z as a “Datsun”. On the old 350Z he complained that “how many times have you gone for 3rd and missed 5th?”

New Official Photo: New BMW Z4 Rear-End Shot

My friend Horatiu at BMWBlog posted an image from the 2009 BMW Z4 catalog/brochure, a teaser photo with the new Z4. Of course from the brochure scan the image seems a bit obscured but none-the-less, you can tell what the new Z4 will actually look like. We recently posted a spy shot of the new Z4 on the set of a new upcoming movie.

Spied On Set: 2010 BMW Z4 Gets Spied On A Movie Set

Apparently, from various sources over the internet, Michael Douglas is going to star in a new movie which includes a new 2010 BMW Z4. So on the set of “this movie” they had to roll out the new 2010 BMW Z4 and we are posting the image that was found on a BMW forum (e89.zpost.com).

If you are willing to wait for the Detroit (NAIAS) Auto Show you can see the 2010 BMW Z4 in person.
