The new Porsche 918 made a driving debut just recently in Monterey, California before making an appearance at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The 918 Spyder prototype is a new technological marvel combining extraordinary performance and eco-friendliness. The 918 Spyder is capable of a 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds and 198mph top speed. The 918 was able to lap the Nurburgring Nordschliefe in 7 minutes and 30 seconds which is faster than the Porsche Carrera GT’s time.

    I really like the videos, the new 918 Porsche looks something out of a Batman movie. I luv the fact it’s a green vehicle and also the huge hp. In the videos you can here how the car sounds, it’s sound very much like a F1 car, awesome.

    It is really amazing car. According to Porsche, the 918 Spyder’s 500-horsepower V8, supplemented by two electric motors by the axles giving an extra 218 horsepower, will push it to 100kmh (62mph) in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 198mph.
