In a recent Joe Rogan Experience podcast episode, Tesla CEO Elon Musk discussed the durability of the Tesla Cybertruck. After mentioning that the Cybertruck had endured bulletproof testing with a Tommy Gun, Joe Rogan proposed a unique challenge: shooting an arrow at the Cybertruck to see if it could withstand the impact. Musk accepted the $1 bet and an impromptu test took place.
Rogan used a powerful 90-pound compound bow that shot 525-grain arrows at a remarkable speed. He fired an arrow at the Cybertruck’s stainless steel exterior, and despite the force, the arrow merely ricocheted off, leaving a minor dent but no significant damage. Rogan was visibly impressed with the Cybertruck’s resilience.
Musk also revealed that Tesla would showcase a video during a November 30 event, featuring the Cybertruck enduring a barrage of bullets from various firearms. He mentioned that the Cybertruck’s windows, although not currently bulletproof, could potentially be offered as an optional feature in the future.

Overall, the impromptu arrow test demonstrated the robustness of the Cybertruck’s stainless steel body and its potential for additional security features like bulletproof windows.
