Infiniti is giving us a sneak peek of its upcoming 2025 QX80, promising to revolutionize the realm of full-size luxury SUVs upon its unveiling next month. Prior to its debut on March 20, the company has unveiled the first segment of a teaser video series, offering a glimpse into the robust performance, seamless comfort, and cutting-edge technology that will define the all-new flagship QX80.
Drawing inspiration from the QX Monograph concept showcased at the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance™, the production version of the QX80 signals a fresh chapter for Infiniti. This new iteration embodies the brand’s evolved design philosophy, Artistry in Motion, harmonizing form and function to evoke a sense of emotion. However, the specifics of the redesigned QX80 are being kept tightly under wraps for now.
Infiniti has collaborated with digital artist Kaoru Tanaka to craft an eye-catching pattern while skillfully concealing the exterior of the new model. Tanaka, a self-taught generative artist from Osaka, Japan, has infused her distinctive style into the design, drawing inspiration from the interplay of artistry, technology, and motion. Her bespoke digital creation reflects the fluidity and complexity reminiscent of human DNA.
Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president for Global Design at Infiniti, expressed the belief that the exceptional nature of the all-new QX80 transcends the need for conventional camouflage used to obscure pre-release models.
The official reveal of the 2025 Infiniti QX80 is scheduled for March 20 at 7 p.m. EST through a livestream event, with further details to be shared closer to the date. Additionally, the QX80 will be showcased at the 2024 New York International Auto Show from March 29 to April 7. Those interested in learning more about the QX80 can find additional information at new-QX80.com.
