2027 GMC Yukon

The 2027 GMC Yukon sits at the upper end of the full-size SUV market, with a lineup that runs from a $69,900 Elevation to a $104,800 Denali Ultimate. But what dealers pay for these trucks is substantially lower than what they ask, and confirmed transaction data shows buyers across the country are regularly landing 2.5 to 3.6 percent below MSRP on standard trims. With invoice gaps ranging from $3,775 to $5,659, there is real money on the table if you know where to start.

This guide covers what dealers pay for every 2027 Yukon trim, what real buyers are paying, and how to negotiate a deal that reflects what the market will actually bear.

2027 GMC Yukon Invoice Prices by Trim

The 2027 Yukon comes in seven configurations, split between two powertrain families. The Elevation and AT4 use a 5.3L V8 as standard, while the Denali, AT4 Ultimate, and Denali Ultimate come standard with the more powerful 6.2L V8. All trims offer the 3.0L Duramax turbodiesel as an option. Prices below exclude the $2,795 destination charge.

Standard Wheelbase (Yukon)

Trim MSRP Invoice Invoice-to-MSRP Gap
Elevation 4×2 $69,900 $66,125 $3,775
Elevation 4×4 $72,900 $68,963 $3,937
AT4 4×4 $77,600 $73,410 $4,190
Denali 4×2 $83,100 $78,613 $4,487
Denali 4×4 $86,100 $81,451 $4,649
AT4 Ultimate 4×4 $98,200 $92,897 $5,303
Denali Ultimate 4×4 $104,800 $99,141 $5,659

Extended Wheelbase (Yukon XL)

Trim MSRP Invoice Invoice-to-MSRP Gap
Elevation 4×2 $72,900 $68,963 $3,937
Elevation 4×4 $75,900 $71,801 $4,099
AT4 4×4 $80,600 $76,248 $4,352
Denali 4×2 $86,100 $81,451 $4,649
Denali 4×4 $89,100 $84,289 $4,811
AT4 Ultimate 4×4 $101,200 $95,735 $5,465
Denali Ultimate 4×4 $107,800 $101,979 $5,821

On top of the invoice-to-MSRP gap, GM pays dealers holdback of approximately 3 percent of base MSRP on every Yukon sold. That holdback is additional dealer margin that does not show up in any invoice figure, meaning a dealer agreeing to sell near invoice still walks away profitable. On a $86,100 Denali 4×4, the combined invoice gap and holdback represent well over $6,000 in potential dealer profit before negotiation. Buyers who understand this dynamic are in a much stronger position than buyers who treat MSRP as a fixed number.

What Is the Destination Charge on the 2027 GMC Yukon?

GMC charges $2,795 for destination and delivery on the 2027 Yukon and Yukon XL, unchanged from 2026. This fee is non-negotiable. With destination added, the Yukon range starts at $72,695 on the Elevation 4×2 and reaches $107,595 on the Denali Ultimate. The Yukon XL runs approximately $3,000 more per trim with destination.

What Changed for 2027

The 2027 Yukon brings a notable standard-equipment upgrade at the top of the lineup. Super Cruise, GM’s hands-free driver assistance system for compatible highways, is now standard on the Denali trim (both standard and XL). On the 2026 model, Super Cruise was an available option; the 2027 Denali includes it from the factory along with a 3-year OnStar One connected plan. This is the headline change for the year, and it partly explains the Denali’s $2,700 MSRP increase over 2026, which is the largest jump of any 2027 Yukon trim.

The AT4 gained $1,000 in MSRP, with standard equipment updates including a high approach angle fascia, front skid plate, and red recovery hooks. The remaining trims received more modest $300 to $900 increases.

All 2027 Yukons gain a 16.8-inch diagonal infotainment screen with Google built-in as standard equipment, replacing the smaller display from the previous generation. The body-on-frame T1 platform, Arlington TX assembly, and core powertrain lineup are unchanged.

2027 GMC Yukon Specs and Engine Options

The Yukon offers three engine choices, each paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission:

5.3L V8 (standard on Elevation and AT4): 355 horsepower at 5,600 RPM and 383 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 RPM. Regular unleaded fuel. Maximum towing up to 8,400 lbs in 2WD configuration with the proper trailering package, approximately 8,200 lbs in 4WD. EPA combined fuel economy of 17 mpg.

6.2L V8 (standard on Denali, AT4 Ultimate, and Denali Ultimate; $2,495 option on AT4): 420 horsepower at 5,600 RPM and 460 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 RPM. Premium unleaded fuel required. Maximum towing capacity up to 8,200 lbs. EPA combined fuel economy of 17 mpg on the Denali, 16 mpg on the AT4 Ultimate and Denali Ultimate.

3.0L Duramax Turbodiesel (available on all trims; $995 option on Elevation and AT4, $1,500 credit on Denali-family trims): 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. Maximum towing approximately 8,200 lbs. Estimated highway fuel economy in the 25 to 27 mpg range, making it the most efficient option for buyers who cover significant highway miles or frequently tow. The diesel commands a fuel economy premium over both gasoline engines on combined driving.

The 5.3L and 6.2L each produce 0-60 mph times in the 6.0 to 7.0 second range based on testing of the current-generation platform. The 6.2L is perceptibly quicker but the spread is narrower than the horsepower gap suggests given the Yukon’s curb weight. For most buyers, the engine choice comes down to fuel type preference and how often they push the towing limit.

What Are Real Buyers Paying for the 2027 GMC Yukon?

TrueCar transaction data on the 2027 Yukon shows 56 confirmed sales in 20 weeks on the base Elevation, with buyers averaging 3.6 percent below MSRP. That discount rate is consistent across the lineup on percentage terms, though it narrows slightly on the higher trims where fewer units change hands.

Trim MSRP (with destination) Market Avg. Price Avg. Savings
Elevation $72,995 $70,369 $2,626 (3.6%)
AT4 $80,695 $77,792 $2,903 (3.6%)
Denali $85,895 $83,397 $2,498 (2.9%)
AT4 Ultimate $100,995 $97,871 $3,124 (3.1%)
Denali Ultimate $107,595 $104,963 $2,632 (2.4%)

The Denali’s smaller percentage discount relative to the Elevation and AT4 makes sense given that the 2027 Super Cruise inclusion is a genuine upgrade over 2026. Buyers may have less willingness to push below MSRP on a trim that received a meaningful equipment addition. The AT4 and AT4 Ultimate show the best discount percentages in the lineup, suggesting slightly more supply relative to demand on the off-road-oriented variants.

Confirmed 2027 GMC Yukon Dealer Listings with VINs

These are verified listings pulled from current dealer inventory.

Legacy GMC, Slidell, LA has the standout deal in current national inventory: a 2027 Yukon AT4 4×4 asking $84,419 against an MSRP of $90,119 (VIN 1GKS2CK82VR112703). That is $5,700 below sticker, approaching invoice-level pricing on a fully-loaded AT4. If you are in the Gulf South region and shopping an AT4, this is the first call to make.

Bentley Buick GMC, Huntsville, AL has a 2027 Yukon Denali listed at $98,119 asking against a $98,870 MSRP (VIN 1GKS2DKL3VR116625). The $751 discount is modest on an absolute basis but the Huntsville market is worth a conversation given the Legacy GMC data point nearby.

Parker GMC, Morehead City, NC is pricing a 2027 Yukon Denali 4×4 at $94,880, which is $1,500 below an MSRP of $96,380 (VIN 1GKS2DKL4VR124667). Coastal North Carolina is not a high-volume Yukon market, which can work in the buyer’s favor when dealers are motivated to move units.

Freeman Buick GMC, Grapevine, TX has a 2027 Yukon Denali Ultimate asking $106,865 (VIN 1GKS2EKL3VR127467). The Denali Ultimate’s base MSRP with destination is $107,595, putting Freeman’s ask slightly under sticker.

Gay Buick GMC, Dickinson, TX has a 2027 Yukon AT4 4×4 asking $87,079 (VIN 1GKS2CKL3VR116070). Compared to the Legacy GMC AT4 at $84,419, there is a $2,660 spread on a comparable trim at dealers less than 300 miles apart, which is a useful data point when making competing offers.

A Manassas, VA dealer has a 2027 Yukon Denali Ultimate 4×4 with the Executive Second Row Seating Package at an MSRP of $112,685. With a $1,199 processing fee, the total ask is $113,884. This represents a fully-optioned Denali Ultimate at the higher end of the trim’s pricing range, and buyers willing to negotiate on this configuration have a $5,659 base invoice gap to work with before options are factored in.

Current 2027 GMC Yukon Incentives (Through November 2, 2026)

GMC is not offering cash rebates or special financing APR on the 2027 Yukon this month. The only manufacturer incentives currently available are lease deals:

  • 2027 Yukon Elevation 4WD: $1,034/month for 36 months, $0 down, 10,000 miles/year
  • 2027 Yukon XL Elevation 4WD: $1,134/month for 36 months, $0 down, 10,000 miles/year

All current incentives expire November 2, 2026.

The absence of cash rebates and APR offers on the 2027 Yukon is a real consideration for buyers deciding between model years. If you find a remaining 2026 Yukon on a dealer lot, it may come with more direct financial incentives. However, the 2027’s Super Cruise inclusion on the Denali and the new 16.8-inch infotainment screen are genuine equipment improvements that carry their own value, and the invoice-to-MSRP gap on the 2027 gives buyers meaningful room to negotiate their own effective discount without relying on manufacturer rebates.

How to Negotiate the Best Price on a 2027 GMC Yukon

The Yukon competes in a segment with consistent supply, and the TrueCar data confirms that paying MSRP is not necessary. Here is how to approach a deal.

Start at or below invoice on the Elevation and AT4 trims. The 3.6 percent below-MSRP market average on these trims puts average buyers within $400 to $700 of invoice already. With the holdback cushion giving dealers additional room, opening at invoice on an Elevation or AT4 is a credible starting position that serious dealers will engage with rather than walk away from.

Use competing dealer quotes to create urgency. The $5,700 gap between the Legacy GMC AT4 in Slidell and the Gay GMC AT4 in Dickinson is a live example of how much asking prices vary on comparable inventory within the same region. Email four to five dealers with a specific trim and a target out-the-door number. A dealer sitting on an AT4 at $90,119 who knows you have a quote for $84,419 somewhere else is in a very different negotiating position.

Engine choice is a negotiating lever on Denali-family trims. The diesel is a $1,500 credit on Denali and Denali Ultimate, which means optioning down from the 6.2L to the diesel actually reduces the price. If your driving profile includes significant highway miles or regular towing, the diesel’s fuel economy advantage is real money over time, and you negotiate from a lower base MSRP.

2027 GMC Yukon second row seats

Super Cruise on the Denali is worth evaluating carefully. The 2027 Denali’s $2,700 MSRP increase over 2026 is the largest of any trim, and it is largely explained by the Super Cruise inclusion with a 3-year OnStar plan. If you were planning to add Super Cruise as an option on a 2026, the 2027 may actually represent better value. If hands-free driving is not a priority, the 2026 Denali with more aggressive discounting may make more financial sense.

End-of-month timing matters on a $90,000 truck. GMC dealers receive unit-based bonuses for hitting monthly sales targets. A dealer who is two units short of a bonus threshold at month’s end has strong financial incentive to deal on a Yukon that has been sitting on the lot. Bringing a firm, ready-to-sign offer in the last three days of the month puts you in the best possible position.

2027 GMC Yukon vs. The Competition

The Yukon’s primary competitors are the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban (which share the same T1 platform at different price points and dealer volume), the Ford Expedition, and the Jeep Wagoneer. The Toyota Sequoia is a hybrid-only full-sizer that plays in an adjacent category.

2027 GMC Yukon second row

Against the Expedition, the Yukon generally holds its own on interior quality and technology, with the 6.2L V8 giving the Denali a horsepower advantage over Ford’s twin-turbo V6 (400 hp). The Expedition Max offers a large-wheelbase alternative to the Yukon XL at comparable pricing.

Against the Sequoia, the Yukon concedes fuel economy (the Sequoia’s hybrid powertrain averages 22 mpg combined versus the Yukon’s 17), but the Yukon’s larger invoice-to-MSRP gap, GM’s longer history of incentive programs, and greater dealer inventory density give Yukon buyers more room to negotiate a competitive transaction price.

For buyers who want the full-size SUV experience at the best negotiated price right now, the Yukon AT4 in a competitive market like Texas or the Gulf South is the trim that offers the best combination of capability, equipment, and negotiating leverage. Target the Legacy GMC pricing data point as your benchmark and use it in every dealer conversation you have.
