Arguably two of the most beautiful cars ever to arrive on our shores from Japan, the hopefully-coming-soon concept Toyota FT-1 and the legendary 1967 Toyota 2000GT are set like bright red bookends at the Irvine, California June 14, 2014 Cars and Coffee event, boldly marking the heritage of Toyota’s ground breaking sports cars. Yes, there have been other Japanese super cars, but for me this is about as good as it gets.
Let’s hope that this showing somehow represents Toyota waving the surrender flag and finally building the car that so many of us have been pining for!
