Scott Hughes, one of the very first owners of the all-new BMW i8 and founder of the BMW Car Club of America’s Club Racing Series, has a new revolutionary hybrid sports car from the German automaker utilizing a turbocharged 3-cylinder engine coupled with a set of electric motors in his garage now. He shares his exclusive experience as a BMW collector and gives us a quick glimpse from his view in picking up his new BMW i8 along with his very own shared heritage of the brand he has had the chance to partake of for many years now. We get to see a few shots of Scott’s extensive BMW collection, which consists of vehicles like the famous M1 and many classics ranging from the Isetta to the 2002 and E30 M3. Scott even owns the famous #51 1972 BMW 3.0 CSL that took runner-up honors at the 2014 Amelia Island Concours and built in 1972 to compete in FIA Group 2 winning it’s class at the 1973 24 Hours of LeMans .
