The folks at Nissan are now offering new Track Pack on the GT-R for those who Nissan claims want “an extra edge on the race track”. As if the Nissan GT-R was not already fast enough even when you put it through its paces on a track, Nissan turns around and makes it tad faster.

Nissan continues amaze us by improving upon an already-excellent formula. The Nissan GT-R with the Track Pack will fill the gap between the normal GT-R and a dedicated GT-R track car. With the Track Pack, the GT-R is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds.

The engine’s output is left alone still making the stock GT-R’s 544 horsepower. What the Track Pack adds is a sportier suspension, unique black-gloss Rays forged alloy wheels and larger brake ducts to improve brake cooling by as much as 100 degrees during track runs. On the inside, the Track Pack deletes the rear seats for weight savings and replaces the front seats with blue-trimmed lightweight Recaro buckets with a plush high-grip fabric. A Track Pack badge is placed on the center console to complete things and remind you of the exclusivity of your GT-R.

The Track Pack will add 10,000 GBP (est. $15,000usd) to the price of a GT-R in the UK. More than likely the Track Pack will not be offered in the U.S.
