Cash For Clunkers Stays Alive: Gets additional $2 billion in relief

After the speculation of fast approaching end to Cash for Clunkers, the House has passed legislation to inject another $2 billion into “Cash for Clunkers”. First it was the administration reporting that the $1 billion initially allocated for Cash for Clunkers, was quickly running out. The bill is slated to go to the Senate next week.

For all of you out there who saw the Ferrari 458 Italia post this morning and were drooling over the pictures well, Ferrari just helped you out a little. You can now hear this gorgeous engine! You get to hear this new Mid Engined, 4.5-liter V8 running up and down the gears, I know I was drooling by the sound of this amazing engine.

There’s something uniquely intoxicating about the screeching wail made by 562 Prancing Italian Horses galloping along at a full 9,000 rpm. Thanks for sharing, Ferrari.

Ferrari Officially Announces the 458 Italia

A new mid-engine V8 Ferrari set to replace the F430 has been officially announced as the 458 Italia. With all of the rumors and speculations in the past months, a new breath of fresh air hits the automotive blogosphere as a new Italian horse with a 4.5-liter direct-injected V8 with 570 hp, 398 lb-ft of torque and a 12.5:1 compression ratio sets to hit the market.

The Top Gear guys are at it again, they are testing out the new Z4 and the new 370Z. Jeremy Clarkson hated the previous Z4 so it makes you wonder what he thinks of this one. He has also always referred to the 350Z as a “Datsun”. On the old 350Z he complained that “how many times have you gone for 3rd and missed 5th?”
