Dodge is celebrating 90 years of Mopar with a special edition of its latest Charger muscle car, appropriately named the Mopar ’27. Limited to just 270 examples across North America, the anniversary package brings a collection of carbon fiber upgrades, exclusive styling details, and some additional performance hardware to the gasoline-powered Charger. Available on the 420-horsepower R/T and 550-horsepower Scat Pack Plus coupes, the Mopar ’27 continues a tradition of limited-edition vehicles that Stellantis has offered since 2010. It’s an interesting way to commemorate Mopar’s performance heritage while giving the new six-cylinder Charger something extra to help it stand apart.
The Mopar ’27 package includes a carbon fiber hood with a functional scoop, carbon fiber front splitter, and matching rear spoiler. A Mopar cold-air intake system adds to the performance theme, although neither model receives an official horsepower increase. Both Chargers retain their twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six engines, with the R/T producing 420 horsepower and the Scat Pack delivering 550 horsepower. Standard all-wheel drive helps put that power to the pavement, making the latest Charger a seriously quick muscle car even without the familiar Hemi V8 under the hood.

Exclusivity is a major part of the appeal, with the Mopar ’27 package adding $10,995 to the price of either eligible Charger. Production will be limited to 243 examples for the United States and 27 for Canada, divided evenly among Diamond Black, White Knuckle, and the appropriately bold Bludicrous exterior colors. Each vehicle will feature special graphics and a numbered identification plaque highlighting its limited-production status. While the upgrades are primarily cosmetic, the combination of carbon fiber components and extremely limited availability could make these Chargers desirable among dedicated Mopar collectors.
The Mopar ’27 Charger will make its public appearance at the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals before heading to the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Dodge also plans to display a more heavily modified example featuring performance springs, a cat-back exhaust system, and massive 21-by-11-inch wheels to showcase additional customization possibilities. For enthusiasts, the anniversary edition is a welcome nod to Mopar’s long history, even if some traditional Dodge fans are still hoping for the return of a V8-powered Charger. We certainly wouldn’t complain about seeing a Hemi make its way back under the hood, but for now, the Mopar ’27 gives the new Charger a little more attitude and an extra dose of exclusivity.
