We guessed it in our review of the 2010 Chevy Camaro SS
, the new 2012 Camaro Z28 will come out and it will sport a 6.2-liter Supercharged V8! This is news hot off of the press as spy shots recently posted on Camaro5.com confirm this rumor. Further proof of concept is via a spy photograph that reveals a paper sign on the dash of the test car reading: “5. 2012 Chevrolet Camaro… 6.2L SC V8, 6AT”. We can pretty much sum up what that lingo means but just like it says on Camaro5, we are not sure if it is the LS9 (Corvette ZR1) or the LSA motor. I am thinking 556 horsepower or more! We will be sure to post more details as they are provided.
