One “performance” area that comes as a surprise to enthusiasts is the all-new 2012 Buick Regal GS. Power for the new Regal GS is rated at a respectable 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This power comes from an Ecotec 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with direct injection.
The new 2012 Buick Regal GS will have a price starting at $35,310 plus destination charge. Another shocker is the new Regal GS will sport a 6-speed manual transmission while a 6-speed automatic mill is planned for a late release into the year 2012. EPA fuel consumption figures should come in around 28 mpg on the highway. Buick’s Interactive Drive Control System combined with adaptive suspension comes on the new Regal GS allowing adjustment of the shock damping and other driver functions.
19-wheels are standard on the new 2012 Regal GS while 20-inch polished alloy wheels are available as an option. 12-way adjustable sport-seats, leather trim, leather wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, Harmon Kardon stereo system, bi-xenon headlights, 120-volt accessory power outlet and push button start are some other features you can expect on the 2012 Regal GS.
