While we won’t give away the complete results and winner of the 2015 Motor Trend Best Driver’s Car competition (in case you have not watched the video or read the article), we remain rather stunned by their selection. Sure, not everyone will like the results given, but we give credit to pro-driver Randy Pobst for his honesty in his track “evaluation” of each vehicle.
Also, it’s too bad the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was essentially a looser here (can we say that?). We were truly rooting for the Z06 but as it turns out, something didn’t’ set too well with the supercharged beast and it went on limping to the finish line. The competition wasn’t all about track times, more about what vehicle in 2015 has what it takes to thrill its driver and play along to providing the best enjoyment out of driving it on some twisty back roads and occasionally on the track.
