I took the new 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera for a spin a couple months ago and I walked away very impressed. I was mostly impressed in the fact that Porsche did the turbocharging thing right, giving it the feeling of its old naturally-aspirated roots. There wasn’t hardly any sense of the engine being turbocharged, much like the sentiments received from Jason Cammisa in the latest episode of Ignition to test out the new 2017 Porsche Carrera – ahhh “turbo but not TURBO.” Enjoy their review video below!

  • Base Price: $90,395
  • Engine: 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-6-cylinder 365 horsepower/332 lb-ft torque
  • Transmissions: 7-speed manual or 7-speed twin-clutch automatic (PDK)
  • Curb Weight: 3,150 pounds (estimated)
  • 0-60 mph: 3.9 seconds (911 Carrera manual transmission)
