Land Rover (JLR) brings us a new Range Rover Evoque, which embodies the many welcomed updates found in the larger stablemates but retains the recognizable DNA found in such vehicles that are luxurious and capable.

The exterior of the New Range Rover Evoque showcases a reductive design philosophy that is both elegant and commanding. An updated grill and sleek super-slim headlights contribute to the vehicle’s refined presence. Additionally, new exterior accents and colors complement the iconic floating roof, unbroken waistline, and flush deployable door handles that are synonymous with Range Rover’s distinctive design DNA.

Customers have a choice of Evoque S and Dynamic SE models, both with a P250 Ingenium powertrain. The Ingenium turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine gets 246 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. Power is transmitted to the four-wheel-drive system through a nine-speed automatic transmission. 0-60 mph takes place in 7 seconds, and the curb weight is 3,935 pounds. Maximum towing is set at 3,968 pounds.

Range Rover’s hallmark capabilities and composure are achieved through advanced chassis technologies. Adaptive Dynamics optimizes suspension stiffness for driving conditions, and a specific calibration for off-road driving is available through the Configurable Dynamics system. The intelligent torque on-demand all-wheel-drive system provides exceptional all-terrain capability, distributing torque as needed based on driving conditions.

Terrain Response® 2 allows drivers to adjust vehicle settings to suit different environments, offering various modes such as Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic, and Automatic. Ground clearance at 8.3 inches provides plenty of height for navigating rough terrain while the approach angle is 19.5 degrees and the departure angle is at 30.6 degrees.

The interior design has been completely reworked, showcasing a clean and streamlined center console design. One notable feature is the sophisticated interior air quality technology known as Cabin Air Purification Plus, ensuring a refreshing cabin atmosphere. Automatic transmission models are equipped with a tactile new gear shifter, while the Pivi Pro infotainment system is accessed through an 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen. Placed higher and closer to the driver, the touchscreen optimizes convenience and liberates additional storage space.

Powered by Pivi Pro, the infotainment system offers regular software updates over the air and is integrated with Amazon Alexa for a seamless and comfortable digital experience. The vehicle is Wi-Fi enabled with a data plan, while the Pivi Pro 1 infotainment system incorporates twin embedded eSIM technology and cloud-based architecture, providing full access to a range of online apps, including popular platforms like Spotify® and Deezer®.

The cabin ambiance is further elevated with a panoramic roof, allowing natural light to flood the interior. Customers can choose from a range of trim finishers, including Technical Light Anodized or Dark Anodized Aluminum, depending on the model.

The New Range Rover Evoque is priced from $49,900 and can be configured and ordered today at LandRoverUSA.com.
