Introducing the 2024 Mercedes-AMG SL63 Manufaktur Big Sur, a limited-production special edition exclusively for the US market. This model boasts a distinctive look both inside and out, featuring Manufaktur Orange Flame Metallic paint, black accents, 21-inch black wheels, and a black soft top with elements from the AMG Exterior Chrome Package.
The interior is adorned with hand-stitched Mystic Red/Black Nappa leather, highlighted by orange contrast stitching on various components.
Under the hood, the car houses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine generating 557 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. It’s equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission and AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel drive, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.
The launch also marks the introduction of the Manufaktur program in the US for the AMG SL lineup, offering customers expanded customization options. The vehicle will be unveiled at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week. While specific availability and production numbers haven’t been disclosed, it’s anticipated to command a premium over the regular AMG SL63’s starting price of $183,000.
