Nissan is bringing a delightful blast from the past to its 2024 Frontier lineup, sure to trigger waves of nostalgia for those who grew up in the 1980s and 1990s. The revival of the iconic “Hardbody” nameplate graces Nissan’s truck family once again, offering a dose of retro style that will undoubtedly turn heads. Alongside this exciting announcement, Nissan has also unveiled the pricing details for the entire 2024 Frontier range.

At the heart of this nostalgia-driven revival is the 2024 Frontier Hardbody Edition, which boasts a captivating design reminiscent of its heritage. The standout feature is the eye-catching 17-inch wheels, which pay homage to a show truck teaser earlier this year. These wheels are wrapped in all-terrain tires and paired with a retro decal package that adds to the overall vintage aesthetic. Nissan has also incorporated a sport bar and black exterior trim, giving the truck a subtle but appealing appearance that harks back to the retro pickup era. This special package is available for the SV Crew Cab 4×4 trim and comes with a price tag of $3,890.

In addition to the Hardbody Edition, Nissan has introduced several other updates for the 2024 Frontier lineup. The new SL Crew Cab trim offers modern luxuries such as LED lighting, leather upholstery, and a premium Fender audio system. To sweeten the deal, Nissan is also offering a three-year trial of its NissanConnect Services, enabling features like remote lock and unlock, remote start, and emergency calling.

For those seeking versatility and cargo space, the Frontier King Cab is available with a longer six-foot bed option. The pricing for the base Frontier King Cab S 4×2 model starts at $29,770, excluding destination fees, taxes, and additional options. If you’re looking for top-tier performance and features in the King Cab category, the SV King Cab 4×4 starts at $35,760.

Nissan caters to a broader range of needs with the Frontier Crew Cab, which offers both five- and six-foot bed options. The base Crew Cab S 4×2 model starts at $31,070, with pricing varying depending on trim levels and optional features. For those seeking the pinnacle of luxury and capability, the top-of-the-line SL Crew Cab 4×4 model can be yours for $42,640, excluding any added options and destination fees.

While Nissan has certainly made strides with these updates, it faces tough competition in 2024. The introduction of the new Ford Ranger, including the much-anticipated Raptor variant, poses a formidable challenge. Toyota is also launching an all-new Tacoma, adding to the competitive landscape. Moreover, the GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado have recently received updates, making them compelling alternatives in the midsize truck segment. As such, 2024 promises to be a challenging yet exciting year for the Frontier, as it vies for a prominent position in this highly competitive market.
