We recently brought you a sliver of the all-female Rebelle Rally highlighting one of the many teams in the desert competition piloting a new Hyundai Santa Cruz. In the conclusion of the rally, there is just one winner, and this time it is once again the Ford Bronco Sport. In a triumphant display of off-road prowess and unwavering determination, the Ford Bronco Sport has once again emerged victorious in the all-female Rebelle Rally Desert Competition, securing its fourth consecutive win in the X-CROSS Class. This remarkable achievement highlights the indomitable spirit of the Bronco brand, emphasizing its “Built Wild” capabilities.

The Ford Performance team, composed of Melissa Clark and Jessica Moore, stood tall as they clinched their fourth consecutive triumph in the challenging Rebelle Rally, showcasing the exceptional off-road navigation skills that the Ford Bronco Sport possesses. Notably, Laura Wanlass and Maria Guitar took home the bronze medal in the 4×4 Class, underlining the versatility and excellence of Ford’s off-road vehicles.

The success of the Bronco Sport was not an isolated victory, as all Bronco teams competing in the 4×4 Class achieved top-ten placements. The all-new Mustang Mach-E Rally also made a spectacular debut in the Rebelle Rally, successfully completing the competition. Ford, with a silver-level sponsorship, entered four Bronco SUVs in this year’s contest, along with the Mustang Mach-E Rally, further solidifying their commitment to pushing the boundaries of off-road performance.

Mark Rushbrook, the global director of Ford Performance Motorsports, expressed his pride in the teams’ achievements, praising their exceptional driving skills and hand-calculated navigation abilities that proved essential in tackling the rigorous off-road challenges of the rally. The Rebelle Rally served as a real-world testing ground, demonstrating the capabilities, durability, and agility of Ford vehicles, including the Mustang Mach-E Rally, Bronco Raptor, Bronco Wildtrak, and Bronco Sport.

The Bronco Raptor made a remarkable impact during the rally, consistently holding a spot in the top-five throughout the seven competition days. The Wanlass-Guitar duo and the Desert Roots Bronco Raptor, driven by Ford ambassador Shelby Hall and Rori Lewis, both secured top-five finishes. The Bronco Raptor, engineered by Ford Performance, stands as the world’s first Ultra4 Racing-inspired SUV, showcasing its ability to conquer desert dunes at highway speeds and navigate rugged Baja terrain with ease.

In the thrilling competition, Team Velocity’s two-door Bronco WildTrak, driven by the 2022 X-CROSS Rookie of the Year winners Karisa Haydon and Trista Smith, faced adversity but valiantly fought back through the rankings, ultimately finishing in a commendable sixth place.

The X-CROSS class witnessed intense competition, with the Clark-Moore team and the Mustang Mach-E Rally of Bailey Campbell and Kaleigh Miller both vying for the top spot. These remarkable teams exchanged positions at approximately the halfway mark, with Campbell and Miller ultimately securing fifth place, a remarkable accomplishment in the debut of the electric Mustang Mach-E Rally.

Ford’s impressive showing in the Rebelle Rally underscores the brand’s dedication to delivering vehicles that can thrive in the most challenging off-road conditions. With their consistent success and unwavering commitment to excellence, the Ford Bronco Sport, Bronco Raptor, and Mustang Mach-E Rally have solidified their positions as formidable contenders in the world of off-road adventure.
