Aston Martin’s legendary Vantage, a stalwart in the automotive world for over seven decades, is getting a significant overhaul for the 2025 model year. While the current generation has been holding its ground since 2018, it’s now undergoing a thorough rejuvenation, blending aesthetic enhancements with substantial mechanical upgrades.

Under the hood lies a potent Mercedes-sourced 4.0-liter V8 engine, now tuned to churn out an astounding 656 horsepower, a significant leap from its predecessor. This power boost isn’t just a result of tweaking a few settings; it’s achieved through meticulous adjustments including new camshafts, larger turbos, and modifications to the compression ratio. With three additional heat exchangers and an enlarged oil cooler, the engine’s performance is kept in check even under intense conditions.

Pairing with this powerhouse is the trusted 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, ensuring seamless power delivery to the rear wheels. Despite the shortened final drive ratio for quicker acceleration, the Vantage maintains its impressive top speed, now reaching 202 mph and sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds.

Beyond the brute force, Aston Martin has meticulously refined the Vantage’s chassis dynamics. Structural enhancements, including a revised underbody and strategic repositioning of key components, enhance torsional rigidity and improve handling precision. Combined with the revamped Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, the new Vantage promises an even more exhilarating driving experience.

The technological prowess extends to the car’s software as well, with recalibrated traction management systems, launch control, and electronic power steering contributing to heightened performance and driver engagement. Even the braking system receives an upgrade, with the option for carbon ceramic discs shedding weight for improved agility.

Visually, the 2025 Vantage commands attention with its wider stance and refined body panels, signaling a blend of sophistication and aggression characteristic of Aston Martin’s design language.

Scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2024, the new Vantage embodies Aston Martin’s relentless pursuit of automotive excellence, promising a thrilling driving experience for enthusiasts worldwide.
