The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S EV has officially been unveiled, bringing a wealth of detailed specifications and features to the table. While we had a preview earlier, this comprehensive reveal includes information on dimensions, efficiency, charging capabilities, and pricing.
The Wagoneer S EV boasts impressive power with its dual 250-kW motors delivering 600 horsepower and 617 pound-feet of torque. This setup propels the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, making it the quickest Jeep ever, although it tops out at a speed of 124 mph. The motors are paired with single-speed transmissions and open differentials.

Equipped with a 400-volt 100.5-kWh battery, the Wagoneer S EV is anticipated to achieve over 300 miles of range on a single charge. It offers a combined efficiency of 99 mpg-e. Standard DC fast charging uses a CCS connector, with NACS expected to be available in a few years. Jeep claims a 20%-to-80% charge time of just 23 minutes.
The Wagoneer S achieves a 0.294 coefficient of drag, the lowest for any Jeep, thanks to features like a sloped rear roof, the R-wing, flush door handles, and smooth undertrays. Chief Design Officer Ralph Gilles suggests even greater aerodynamic efficiency might be possible in future models.
Built on the STLA-Large platform, the Wagoneer S is smaller than the Grand Cherokee in every dimension: it’s 1.1 inches shorter in length, 2.7 inches narrower, and 6 inches lower in height. It features a ground clearance of 6.4 inches compared to the Grand Cherokee’s 8.4 inches. The suspension setup includes MacPherson strut front suspension and an integral link independent rear suspension. With a curb weight of 5,667 pounds, it also offers nearly perfect weight distribution at 50.2/49.8.
The Wagoneer S offers 30.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 61 cubic feet with the seats folded down. There is also a 3-cubic-foot front trunk (frunk). The vehicle has a payload capacity of 1,033 pounds and can tow up to 3,400 pounds.
The Launch Edition of the Wagoneer S comes well-equipped with luxurious features, including 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, faux leather upholstery, a microfiber suede roof lining, and wireless device charging. The infotainment system includes a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system, a 10-inch HUD, a 12.3-inch instrument screen, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a 10.25-inch passenger screen.
Driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping and stop-and-go, blind-spot monitoring, and parking assistance sensors and cameras. Currently, there are two main options: the Radar Red interior and the Trailer Tow Group, which adds trailer wiring, a hitch, and an updated blind-spot warning system for trailer towing.
The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S EV Launch Edition is priced at $71,995, including the destination charge. Reservations open tomorrow, with deliveries expected to begin this fall.
The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S EV promises a blend of high performance, advanced technology, and luxury features, setting a new benchmark for Jeep’s electric vehicle lineup. With its powerful motors, efficient battery system, and array of comfort and safety features, it is poised to make a significant impact in the electric SUV market.
