Luis Baston, of Kane Design, sent in renderings of what Car and Drivers speculates would be a new 2012 VW Beetle R introduced with a 266 horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque turbocharged 2.0-liter engine.
The new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle is truly a remarkable design taking cues from the old-school ragtop Bug. New speculations have surfaced with an introduction of a Beetle R version that will have a convertible variant introduced for 2013 model year sporting the same turbocharged engine.
