“The most hardcore street legal 911 yet” is how Porsche describes the new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 and we would have to agree sole heartedly. The latest 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is truly a modern marvel with 500 horsepower and 336 ft-lbs. of torque coming from a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat 6-cylinder engine. That is 125 horsepower per liter.
Power is directed to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual sport transmission, the way it should be. The new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 weighs in at just 2,998 pounds and should reach 60 mph in 3.9 seconds or less.
A total of 600 units will be produced at a price of around $185,000. Check out the latest preview video of the new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 below.
