There has been much hype over the all-new Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 recently, and for good reason… it is a beast! To only add to the Z/28 hype, Dario Franchitti is set to pilot the Camaro Z/28 Indy 500 Pace Car come the 98th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 25th. This will be the eighth time that a Camaro has been chosen as the Pace Car and 25th time that it has been a Chevrolet. It is only fitting that Dario Franchitti, three-time Indy 500 winner, get to drive the Camaro Z/28 Pace Car, which as you is the most track-capable Camaro yet rivaling many supercars with their Nurburgring lap times.
