I thought I would never see the day that a respectable automotive magazine pits the BMW M3 up against a Mustang GT. Well, that day has come and gone. Numbers-wise the new 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0-liter V8 is almost a dead-ringer for the performance stats of the 2011 BMW M3. So which one comes out on top in MotorTrend’s latest test in all areas?     No F’in way the Mustang compares to the M3 in any other category other than it goes fast. The interior is inferior, teh ride is antiquated (outdated rear end isn’t even independent).

    Probably the very reason I ended my subscription to MT years ago…bunch of numb nuts that hand out extra points for any car wearing an American flag instead of basing it on their actual merits as well as caring the way it drives, handles, and relays information to the driver, which is what gives you an overall awesome driving experience!

    Alex, read it and believe it! The cars were as even as two cars can be, and the Mustang is by far the better value! I’ve sat in a 2011 Mustang 5 liter and I didn’t see a thing along with the interior. I think all in all the Mustang wins against the hotsie totsie BMW. But, if you still want a BMW, be my guest and pay the extra $26,000.

    I never would of thought that the M3 would tie an GT Mustang, great video. But in a road course the M3 would kill the GT Mustang. You gotta like the Price of the Mustang and what you get with it thou. http://dld.bz/usedcarsforsale
