Lexus Reveals Official LF-LC Concept Image

The upcoming North American Auto Show in Detroit is sure to be a big hit showcasing some of the most anticipated vehicles for the upcoming model years. One concept that we are eager to see is the recently announced and teased Lexus LF-LC Concept. Road & Track was the first to give everyone a look at the new Lexus LF-LC concept in its full-form. Just after Road & Tracks reveal, Lexus drops an official image of the LF-LC Concept.

We are still not sure where the new Lexus LF-LC Concept would be positioned “if” it makes its way to production. Quite possibly it could be a new Lexus LS-based coupe that will rival the BMW 6 Series and Benz SL class. Either way, what we see here is very intriguing to say the least.

Lexus To Show LFA Nürburgring Edition In Geneva

After announcing the car in May of 2010, Lexus will finally take the wraps off the LFA Nürburgring Edition at next months Geneva Motor Show. A more aggressive, track-centric version of Lexus’ supercar, the Nürburgring Edition brings you even more of a good thing. The 4.8 liter V10 gets ten more horsepower, which raises output to 562 horsepower. Shift times are reduced by 50 milliseconds, the suspension is tightened up even further and an enhanced aerodynamic package (with a less-than-subtle rear wing) is added to improve downforce and high speed stability. Only ten percent of the LFA’s production will be Nürburgring Edition variants, which means that only fifty will be built. Ever. Read more

He brought dream cars to life and believed that the ‘the flavor of a car is created on a track’, Hiromu Naruse loved racing in which he inspired almost every sports car for Toyota. After his unfortunate death, Hiromu Naruse, the Japanese driver who logged the most amount of time on the Nurburgring circuit, continues to live on in the spirit of Toyota/Lexus vehicles. He died at the early age of 67 doing what he loved. Toyota/Lexus has paid a farewell tribute to the legend in the video below. Enjoy!

Toyota Chief Test Driver Dies In Crash Behind Wheel of Lexus LF-A Prototype

The recently spied LFA Nurburgring Edition prototype was involved in a head-on collision with a BMW test vehicle in Germany. Reports have come in from a few sources stating that the driver killed in the crash behind the wheel of the LFA was Hiromu Naruse, the Godfather (creator) of the LFA and personal driver to Akio Toyoda, Toyota’s President.

Reportedly the two persons in the BMW were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Our sincere condolences go out to the families of Naruse.

Video: Behind the scenes of Lexus LFA “Pitch” Commercial

All you ever wanted to know about the infamous Lexus Pitch commercial and how in the world they were able to break a glass with the sound of the Lexus LFA’s V10 engine. Race car driver Scott Pruett along side of physicist Angella Johnson attempt to explain all of this but still failed to mention why they used a microphone and speaker to ‘broadcast’ the sound when the LFA is well capable of breaking the glass without any “help”.
