Cadillac is taking the Escalade IQ even further upmarket with Curated by Cadillac, a new personalization program that turns the already expensive electric SUV into something far more exclusive. For an additional $54,995 on top of the Escalade IQ’s existing six-figure price, buyers will gain access to a dramatically expanded catalog of colors, materials and personalized details. The idea is simple enough: give Escalade IQ customers a taste of the same one-on-one design experience Cadillac has developed around its ultra-luxury Celestiq.
The level of choice is where things get serious. Customers will be able to select from more than 160 exterior paint colors and 44 interior colors, opening the door to combinations that should make each vehicle feel genuinely individual. Buyers will also work with a personal Cadillac concierge throughout the specification process, and the finished SUVs will receive unique identification and serialized builder badging. Each Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will also be hand-painted and assembled at GM’s Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan, the same specialized facility responsible for the Celestiq.

Of course, none of this comes cheaply. The Escalade IQ already starts deep into luxury-car territory, and adding another $54,995 for the Curated treatment pushes well-equipped examples beyond the $200,000 mark without much difficulty. That sounds extreme for an Escalade, but Cadillac is clearly aiming at buyers who already view personalization as part of the luxury experience. Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley and other premium brands have spent years turning bespoke paint, trim and materials into a major part of the buying process, and Cadillac appears increasingly interested in playing in that same space.

Production of the Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027, but Cadillac will give the public an early preview with a concept at The Quail during Monterey Car Week. Whether buyers embrace a $54,995 personalization package remains to be seen, but the move says plenty about Cadillac’s ambitions. The Escalade has long been one of the brand’s strongest status symbols, and with the electric IQ version, Cadillac now seems determined to make it not only luxurious, but as personal and exclusive as the owner is willing to pay for.
