Diesel powered vehicles have become a phenomenon amongst automotive enthusiasts and those who value the unsurpassed fuel consumption and ample torque. Unfortunately, Diesel has yet to catch onto the main stream in a way we would like to see here in America. Due to companies like BMW, VW, Audi, Benz and even GM’s Chevrolet, auto makers are slowly demolishing those old preconceptions of diesel being exclusive to 18-wheelers or black-smoking-bellowing classic Mercedes-Benz.
It seems it is going to take a bit more marketing and hands-on experiences for diesel to really move into the next gear, which our friends at Automotive Rhythms are attempting to do by showcasing the first impressions of the new BMW 3 Series Diesel from individuals like actor Lamman Rucker.
