The celebration of Lamborghini’s illustrious history took center stage at the International Concours of Elegance (I.C.E.) in St. Moritz, where enthusiasts and collectors gathered to revel in the legacy of the iconic Italian marque. Hosted on the frozen lake of St. Moritz, this prestigious event provided a breathtaking backdrop for showcasing some of Lamborghini’s most cherished classics.

Representing Lamborghini with pride was Lamborghini Polo Storico, the renowned custodian of the brand’s heritage. Amidst the snow-covered scenery, two distinguished vehicles from the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese stole the spotlight: the 1973 Jarama GTS and the 1968 400 GT 2+2. Each car, a testament to Lamborghini’s commitment to automotive excellence, embodied distinct eras in the company’s evolution.

The Jarama GTS, introduced in 1970 at the Geneva Motor Show, epitomized the spirit of Gran Turismo driving with its sleek design and formidable performance. Boasting a potent 4-liter V-12 engine and innovative features like retractable eyelids over the headlights, the Jarama GTS offered luxurious comfort coupled with exhilarating performance. The presence of this meticulously preserved example at St. Moritz underscored its enduring appeal among enthusiasts.

Equally captivating was the 400 GT 2+2, unveiled in 1966 with subtle yet significant enhancements over its predecessor, the 350 GT. Renowned for its refined aesthetics and powerful 12-cylinder engine, the 400 GT epitomized Lamborghini’s pursuit of automotive perfection. Its inclusion at the I.C.E. Concours d’Élégance served as a poignant reminder of Lamborghini’s relentless dedication to engineering excellence and innovation.

Against the backdrop of St. Moritz’s frozen lake, the I.C.E. provided a fitting stage for these automotive masterpieces to shine. As Alessandro Farmeschi, Global After Sales Director of Automobili Lamborghini, aptly noted, the event not only celebrated the marque’s rich heritage but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among enthusiasts and collectors. It was a testament to Lamborghini’s enduring legacy and its unwavering commitment to preserving its storied history for generations to come.

In essence, the participation of Lamborghini Polo Storico at the I.C.E. Concours d’Élégance symbolized more than just a showcase of classic cars; it was a celebration of passion, craftsmanship, and the timeless allure of the Lamborghini brand.
