Just as expected, photos of cars to be revealed at the upcoming North American International Auto Show have leaked out and we get an early glimpse of what is to come from many auto manufacturers in the years to come. Porsche is expected to reveal a Targa variation of their all-new 911 and we are sharing some leaked photos today sourced from In Auto News.
The Porsche 911 (991) Targa pays homage to the original 1960’s Targa top featuring the removable roof section and the slopping rear window. The new Porsche 911 Targa will feature a 3.4-liter flat six-cylinder engine producing 345 horsepower while a Targa S will captivate the driver with a 3.6-liter flat-6 and 395 horsepower. Both variants will come standard with a manual transmission while the famous PDK dual-clutch unit will be optional.
Additional details of the new Porsche Targa are expected to drop next week at the NAIAS in Detroit.
