Automotive spy photographers were able to capture images of the engine found in the upcoming Camaro Z28 out on its testing grounds. As the previous rumors speculated, the new Camaro Z28 will have the same engine found in the current Cadillac CTS-V, the 6.2-liter 556hp & 551 lb-ft of torque LSA Supercharged V8.

The images posted on Camaro5 also reveal a new hood with a two-row air scoop design somewhat similar to what we saw on a Jay Leno edition Camaro.
