The guys at Porsche have conjured up a new hybrid system which is nothing like the one found in your normal consumer hybrid sold at the Toyota or Ford dealership. Instead, found in the new Porsche 911 GT3 R, is a hybrid system that uses an electro-mechanical flywheel for energy storage developed by the Williams Formula One team and the Williams Hybrid subsidiary.
